BREAKING NEWS

EHJ Projects and TANA Pulp and Paper Share Company have recently signed an agreement, in terms of which EHJ Projects will co-develop and project manage the design and construction of an integrated pulp and paper production facility in the Amhara region, Ethiopia.

The project is currently in the Bankable Feasibility stage and it is anticipated that plant commissioning will commence during 2021.

Alemayehu Wassie, General Manager:  TANA Pulp and Paper Share Company, states "The project has significant potential to uplift the regional economy, providing a sustainable future for the many thousands of small-scale local timber growers through a steady supply of eucalyptus and bamboo into the plant.  We are very excited to have EHJ Projects on board of this important project and look forward to working closely with them as we develop this project together."

Howard Craig, CEO of EHJ Projects, stated that "we are delighted, but very humbled that TANA Pulp and Paper Share Company have put their trust in EHJ Projects to develop this project to full operation.  We, together with our partners, will utilize our significant global experience in large-scale projects of this nature to deliver a project that all Ethiopians can be proud of.  We are particularly excited to be working with the adjacent local communities as we assist in developing sustainable income-generating opportunities in the region."
